My morning breakfasts at the Kimpton Charlotte Square were delicious and offered perfect choices of local and continental fare
Over the course of my three breakfasts at the Kimpton Charlotte Square, I was able to indulge in the best of a light food start in Scotland. Breakfast is served until about 9:30 / 10am and is located the space is where Baba resides in the evening.

The serving array of foods are the best of a continental offering – with a decent array of buffet options for all food preferences. It was not my breakfast in Paris at Brasserie du Louvre. But, it didn’t need to be – as it was unique to the spirit of Scotland. I still got my cappuccino and grilled tomatoes. But, having those items with locally smoked Scottish salmon and mackerel on toast – with some fruit? Simple and filling. A traveler’s food heaven.

They had haggis – but, I did not indulge. I enjoy local fare (whisky for sure) – but haggis was never my particular thing.
