Kimpton Charlotte Square

The Kimpton Charlotte Square in Edinburgh was everything I could have dreamed for, during my first visit to Scotland

Taking the LNER train from London to Edinburgh, I didn’t know what to expect. Would my hotel be easy to find? Would the walk be safe? Would I like this hotel more than the other hotel I’d been comparing it to? As I was seeing Beyonce’s Renaissance World Tour at the BT Murrayfield Stadium, would it be a comfortable distance to walk or get public transportation back, if Ubers were overwhelmed?

The answers to all of these questions are a resounding YES. The Kimpton Charlotte Square is perfectly situated within walking distance from the Edinburgh train station. And the hotel is simply gorgeous. The photos on the website simply do not do the property justice.

Staying at the Kimpton Charlotte Square was exactly the vibe and location I wanted.

After the European sized “Cozy” square footage of my room at The Hoxton, Southwark, my room at the Kimpton Charlotte Square was lusciously spacious. My room felt clean, modern and refreshed. It was designed perfectly with the details and space that I felt were appropriate for the price I paid.

Plus –  most importantly – my room had a comfortable bed to FINALLY beat my jet lag in.

Cocktails at Baba and breakfast at the breakfast lounge were stellar.

The Kimpton Charlotte Square felt safe, was within walking distance to everything I wanted to see and do and was – simply put – perfect for me.

Highly, highly, highly recommend.
