Napa General Store

Breakfast at Napa General Store was a wonderful way to started a pretty packed schedule of a day, in Napa, California

There are some people that enter your life, exactly when you need them, to really dive deep into a conversation you need to have with someone who understands. When I realized I would once again need to be in the San Francisco for a series of meetings, I message Bryan, a friend from high school to arrange a time for breakfast and conversation. Since I would be staying at the Andaz Napa,  he suggested that we meet up at Napa General Store.

After exchanging pleasantries,  I ordered the BRIOCHE FRENCH TOAST (sweet cream, egg, cinnamon & vanilla with sweet whipped cream) and CHICKEN-APPLE SAUSAGE.

And then, over breakfast in a beautiful space in Napa, we had one of the most meaningful conversations about death, grief and overwhelming powerful loss.

It’s kind of incredible – you never really realize that the people you meet in middle school, high school and college – really do have the ability to make a deep impact in your life – when you least expect it.

After breakfast at Napa General Store, we walked around Downtown Napa, with coffee and English muffins to go from Model Bakery and browsed public art as we strolled to Oxbow Public Market.

It was truly a beautiful morning in Downtown Napa.
