Il Posto Trattoria

Dinner at Il Posto Trattoria was a welcomed break from my usual over the top fare in Napa Valley, California

As he lives in wine country, when Bryan gives me a recommendation, I usually trust and go with it without a second thought. We have similar taste and flavor expectations. So, it’s a win when I can go somewhere that someone I trusts, recommends.

After our lovely morning at Napa General Store, he recommended that I make reservations at  Il Posto Trattoria for a non Yountville, chill spot dinner. After all, I can only go to Ad Hoc so many times before I want to try somewhere else new.

Driving from Andaz Napa was relatively quick. Within minutes I was greeted and seated.

The bread and a cocktail kept me satisfied until my main dish, the RADIATORE (prawns, Italian sausage, english peas, pine nuts, pesto cream sauce) arrived.

It was delicious. I was greatly appreciative of Bryan’s suggestion to try Il Post Trattoria. It truly gave me a lovely end to a rather busy day, in Napa Valley.
