InterContinental The Clement Monterey

My stay at the InterContinental The Clement Monterey was a welcomed joy of a hotel experience, in Monterey, California

After a previous under expectations AF stay at Monterey Marriott, I vowed that the next time I had to visit Big Sur and Monterey for a meeting, I would choose another place to stay.

After checking out options, I realized that the only place that really drew me in was the InterContinental The Clement Monterey. With a click, the reservation was booked and I looked forward to my stay.

Location

The location of the InterContinental The Clement Monterey was perfectly perched on the wharf. Self parking was easy to get to, as I opted not to valet. The lobby and interior of the hotel was great. I spent dinner and breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant, The C Restaurant + Bar, over the course of my stay.

Room + Stay

I absolutely loved my room. That’s one thing about IHG and Hyatt hotels – their hotel management brands have the best rooms. My room was spacious, beautifully appointed. From my window, I could see the Bay. I only wish it was cold enough to use the fireplace. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to rest for a night.

Overall

Overall, I deeply and completely loved my stay at the InterContinental The Clement Monterey. The location allowed me to stroll the area comfortably and bask in the best that Monterey had to offer. But most importantly, it allowed me a sense of peace during a busy and booked weekend.
