Ashes + Diamonds Winery in Napa Valley was a great experience of wine paired with great food in mid century modern decor
“Great day to get drunk on wine.” – said a passing stranger at Andaz Napa, after Sara and I exchanged morning pleasantries.
They didn’t know how right they were.
Ashes and Diamonds was a gorgeous winery and our only tasting for the day. It was absolutely delicious – visually and taste wise.
My favorite aspects of A+D were the food, the vibe and the wines. The food was excellently paired with the wines; our server was a delight to speak with; the atmosphere was relaxed refinement and we had an absolute great time day drinking in Napa.

I loved the mid-century modern design of the winery.
I walked away with a bottle of 2019 Mountain Cuvee Bates Ranch Vineyard (A high-altitude (2,100 ft.) Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc from the historic, four-generation-old Bates Ranch near Mount Madonna, in the southern end of the Santa Cruz Mountains.) and delicious memories with a dear friend.
