Frogtown Brewery is an oasis of great beers in a large, comfortable relaxing space in the Frogtown area of Los Angeles, California. Along with tacos from Frogtowns Gourmet Tacos? Perfection.
Bike riding with Chris was supposed to be a light hearted, fun affair. But, after a rather stressful day and a bike mishap that almost took both of us out, I thought that after we finished our 5.31 mile ride in Griffith Park, we could use some beers.
So, a short time later, we found ourselves at Frogtown Brewery.
I tried a sample of the Pinot Noir Bret Barrel Aged Blonde Ale (Blonde) and settled on Fra-Gi-Le (Blood Orange Saison).
Lucky for me, Frogtowns Gourmet Tacos food truck was parked out front as the food vendor. I ordered three BEER BATTERED FISH TACOS along with a bowl of CHIPS AND GUACAMOLE.
It was legitimately perfect. As the sun set and deep conversations were had, I truly appreciated everything that led to our chill point of relaxation together. A great few ounces of beer and fish tacos with a dear friend – after a great bike ride – was legitimately the highlight of a very stressful day.
I will say that the majority of street parking around Frogtown Brewery opens up after 6pm. So, take that into consideration when planning a visit.
