Creature Comforts Taproom and Brewery in Downtown Los Angeles offers a delicious array of craft beers ranging from light IPAs to sours to dark imperial stout beers.
When choosing beer to bring to a friend’s Super Bowl party, I knew that I didn’t want to go with just the average beers. So, a random email from Triple Beam Pizza about a collaboration with Creature Comforts that sparked my curiosity.
So, on a lovely weekend day, we found ourselves at Creature Comforts Brewery.
Wanting a complete selection of taste, I ordered the ATHENA (tart German-style wheat beer), AUTOMATIC (IPA) and the COSMIK DEBRIS (Imperial IPA). All three of the pours were easy drinking, light and well rounded.
Additionally, I loved the selection of smash burgers by Killer Smash Burgers. The special sauce they provide hit the spot on my CHEESEBURGER (with no cheese) and FRIES. Everything was absolutely delicious.
I ended up buying a pack of the ATHENA, COSMIK DEBRIS and FLANERIE (wheat). Alongside a can of AWAKEN MY LOVE. I loved the reference to the Childish Gamino’s album, of the same title.
Additionally, getting a custom flower arrangement by El Milagro Flowers was an absolute joy.
And what’s even better? The beer was a large hit at the Super Bowl, the next day.
