Dinner at RPM Italian in Mount Vernon Square offered a delicious meal of Italian fare in Washington DC
Settling in from my flight to Washington, D.C., I was excited to connect and have dinner with Reema, a friend from high school. When she suggested RPM Italian, I immediately browsed the menu. After saying yes, I was glad to be on my way to Mount Vernon Square.

After exchanging happy hellos and compliments with Reema, we were led by the host to our table.
I started with a classic: an OLD FASHIONED cocktail to lean into the night. This was great with the TRUFFLED GARLIC BREAD.

Now, Reema said that RPM Italian was absolutely known for their PRIME BEEF MEATBALLS (Roasted Garlic, Parmesan).

For my main course, I ordered a glass of the 2020 LA MIRAJA RUCHÉ DI CASTAGNOLE MONFERRATO from Piedmont, Italy. It went deliciously with the MAINE LOBSTER RAVIOLI (Petite Basil, Lemon Zest).
