Little Ripper

Little Ripper in Glassell Park is a cozy spot for delicious breakfast items and coffee in Los Angeles, California

When I wanted to meet a friend for a conversation, I searched for a unique spot that would be open for brunch, be interesting and have decent parking around Glassell Park. Little Ripper shined out in my search, mainly for the name and for its location off the main traffic area. Which led me to believe there would be decent parking.

I cannot stress how much my interest in a spot is centered around decent parking.

I never expected to find an Australian cuisine spot in Los Angeles. But, that’s exactly what Little Ripper declares itself to be. Complete with Vegemite.

When I arrived to meet my friend, I thought the location and vibe was perfect.

I usually get only one thing – which is my usual go to for breakfast: the GOLDIE LOX (lox, herb cream cheese, cucumber, pickled red onion, capers, dill & lemon) and a coffee. I believe at the time they offered a special LAVENDER LATTE, which is my favorite coffee flavor.

Both were delicious and worked together with the cozy atmosphere of Little Ripper to create a space for deep, expansive conversation with my friend.

And sometimes, that’s all you need.
