Charcoal Venice

Charcoal Venice is a modern steakhouse - focusing on dry aging meats - in Venice Beach, California

Wanting to get out of the house for dinner, we settled on going to Charcoal, in Venice Beach. I’d previously visited with Johann during a Dine LA dinner – and loved it. so, why not try it with Mr. Picky Eater?

We started with the BREAD WITH BEURRE DE BARATTE and I ordered the BLACK MANHATTAN (Buffalo Trace Bourbon, Chocolate Bitters, Punt e Mes).

We continued with the TUNA TARTARE (Yellowfin Tuna, Pickled Cucumber, Avocado, Citrus Vinaigrette).

Next up, was the CABBAGE BAKED IN THE EMBERS (Yogurt, Sumac, Lemon Zest).

For our main course, the star of the show was the AMERICAN WAGYU SIRLOIN (J-Marinated Snake River Farm) along with the BRUSSELS SPROUTS (Charred Brussels Sprouts, Calamansi Glaze, Calabrian Chili).

To end our delightful meal, we savored the CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER CRUNCH CAKE.
