With its roots deeply entwined in authentic Italian culinary traditions, Trattoria dall'Oste delighted me with selections of delicious cuts of steak and clean, welcoming atmosphere.
Dinner at Trattoria dall’Oste was a delicious, meat forward delight. After a rather long walk around Florence, I decided to take Samir’s (my photographer for my Cinematic Photoshoot in Rome from Airbnb Experiences) advice and head to Trattoria dall’Oste for dinner.
Settling in, the restaurant was a welcomed reprise from the heat of the Florentine sun. Most importantly, it had working air conditioning!
After browsing the menu and speaking with my server regarding recommendations, I ordered the PEPE VERDE E BRANDY (beef tenderloin with green pepper sauce and brandy) and the INSALATA MISTA DI STAGIONE (mixed salad) as a side.
The steak was delicious. However, I had wishful thinking after the salad arrived. I should have ordered the fries instead. I know it’s a clear case of a European vs American taste thing – however, I just don’t like my dressing to only be the served olive oil and vinaigrette on the table.
Samir’s recommendation of Trattoria dall’Oste was fantastic. It was a welcomed reprise from the walking and exploration an afternoon in Florence.
