The Farmer & The Seahorse

The Farmer and The Seahorse was a great weekend breakfast spot to bask in the warm San Diego area air - with delicious food to match

After a lovely night’s stay at The Cassara Carlsbad, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, we were in need of breakfast fulfillment. So, after a short drive down Pacific Coast Highway to enjoy the panorama views of the Pacific Ocean, we ended up at The Farmer and The Seahorse in La Jolla.

After all, when you’re getting readying to go kayaking, one must eat well to be prepared.

The menu at The Farmer and The Seahorse was delicious to behold. After browsing, I ordered the SALTED MAPLE LATTE to start the day.

When my CHILLED LOBSTER ROLL (chives, brioche, crispy shallots) arrived, I could not avoid the fact that this was the best lobster roll I’ve had outside of Boston, Massachusetts.

The lobster pieces were thick and juicy. The whole sandwich was well proportioned and delicious.

My partner’s BREAKFAST SANDWICH (bacon, egg, cheddar, arugula, dijon mayonnaise) also looked beautiful.

Plus, the grounds of the restaurant was an Instagram worthy experience. It was truly well thought out and lovely to walk among.
