Since visiting Brussels, I've developed an obsession with Belgium waffles. Belgium Waffle Haus is a treat.
I first heard about Belgium Waffle Haus when Diana (follow her awesomeness here) posted it on her Instagram story. Intrigued, I was instantly obsessed. As I fell in love with Belgium waffles during a day trip in Brussels, I relish any opportunity to eat as authentic as possible Belgium waffles.
I had the SMOKED SALMON TARTINE (Smoked Salmon, Cream Cheese, Cucumber, Red Onion, Capers, Dill on Multigrain Bread) with a SIDE OF WAFFLE (Liege Waffle with Pearl sugar) and a CAPPUCCINO (because they are my new, post Paris obsession).
Overall, I will say that it was decent. Mainly, I had a challenge with how thin the bread was for the tartine. The price didn’t warrant the value of the bread. Was it good? Yes. However, you can honestly get a better salmon tartine on thicker bread at Coffee Commissary.
Deliciously, the little waffle was the star of the show. It paired lovely with the cappuccino.
