When Reema mentioned that she was coming to Los Angeles, the idea was that we would organize a group dinner with some ladies from high school for a mini reunion. However, the group aspect eventually turned into just the two of us meeting for dinner.
The rooftop of the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills was beautiful. The view was panoramic and stunning. Our reservation time allowed us to bask in the glow of the sunset.
After conversing with our waiter, we found out that what we picked were his favorites on the menu. Always a good sign.
We started with the TUNA TARTARE (Avocado, Radish, Ginger Marinade).
Next up was the BURRATA (Passion Fruit, Arugula, Thai Chili).
We finished by sharing the FRENCH FRIES with the ROASTED BEEF TENDERLOIN (with squash).
Dinner with Reema was an evening filled with light bites and fun conversations admit the sweeping landscape of Los Angeles.
