Located in Denver's Union Station, Terminal Bar blends historic charm with a wide selection of drinks
Catching up with Angie is always a highlight of any trip to Denver. Since I had dinner plans at Venice Ristorante & Wine Bar that evening, she suggested the perfect pre-dinner spot: The Terminal Bar at Union Station.
I arrived a bit early from the Kimpton Claret, which gave me the chance to take in Union Station for the first time. Hard to believe, considering how many times I’ve been to Denver. The space has been beautifully designed in a vintage meets modern vibe.

Angie arrived shortly after, and warm hugs were exchanged. Our time was a little limited (thanks to me confusing Pacific and Mountain time on my calendar), so we grabbed seats at the bar and dove straight into conversation.
I ordered the GIN BLOSSOM (Kyro Gin, Yokaichi Mugi Shochu, Giffard Lychee, Lemon, Sugar). It was light, refreshing, and paired perfectly with our rapid-fire catch-up.

LLater that evening, after a delicious dinner at Venice with Sean and Kendra, we found ourselves back at Terminal Bar for a nightcap. I went for an ESPRESSO MARTINI (Stoli Vanilla Vodka, Mr. Black Coffee Liqueur, Tempus Fugit Crème de Cacao, Coldbrew, Demerara) and later, a Lemon Drop Martini (vodka, lemon juice).

Both cocktails were a perfect close to the night, complementing the kind of deep, meaningful conversation that leaves you feeling full in every way.
