After finishing up drinks and light bites of dinner at Honor Farm Haunted Spirit House, I wanted to try Reynard Social, located in the Thompson Denver.
It was a well decorated space, for sure. I loved the areas and the space for friends and social events. But, I was there for one thing and one thing only, a night cap that I could take to my room.
After a quick conversation with a bartender about the ingredients, I settled on the BRUIN’S CROWN (Hersch Horizons Bourbon, Marble Coffee Liqueur, Averna Amaro, Cream Blend, Passion Fruit, Citrus).
I couldn’t remember the last time I’d had chocolate and passion fruit combined. It offered a smooth, creamy coffee flavor – with a hint of fruit. It was exactly what I wanted.
As I sipped at the bar and returned to my room, I reflected on my trip. Even with the annoyance of altitude sickness, this was one of the best trips to Denver I’d had, in recent memory.
Funny, how things tend to work out for your highest good and enjoyment – if you release control and let it happen.
