Dining at Meet in Paris has always offered me a savory taste of Paris - and my favorite moules frites - in the comfort of Culver City.
Deciding on a much needed Date Night, I made reservations at Meet in Paris in Culver City. As I’d just received an email from the restaurant discussing their new menu – I thought it was the perfect opportunity to sample some potential new favorites.
After comparing the indoor with outdoor seating, we got a table outside on the well designed sidewalk bistro style seating, next to a heat lamp. I felt cozy and comfortable and excited for the experience to come.
After browsing the drinks menu, I ordered a glass of Chateau Miraval’s signature wine blend, a ROSE from Cotes de Provence, France – which was truly light, refreshing and perfect choice on the early summer evening.
The AHI TUNA TARTARE (Crispy Chips) arrived to the table, presented on a wooden board. I love that it was served with homemade potato chips. This gave the dish a rather cozy, bistro feel. The strips of avocado, along with the dressing sauce made the dish delicious.
My favorite order at Meet in Paris – the MOULES FRITES, the LOBSTER (Bisque, Brandy) was exactly how I remembered it, after so many years. The broth was rich and savory. The only caveat was that more mussels than I expected did not open. But at that point, I was happily completely full.
I also tasted my partner’s PESTO FETTUCCINE (Pistachio, Zucchini), which was distinctly delicious due to the unique flavor of the pistachio.
Over the years, Meet in Paris has always offered me a delicious, comfortable taste of Paris in a warm and inviting setting in Culver City.

For that, I appreciate this staple on Culver Blvd. It’s constantly absolutely delicious.
