Dinner at Kiln SoHo was a delicious taste of modern Southeast Asian and Thai cuisine in London, England
There’s something special about Thai and Southeast Asian cuisine in London. It’s just hands down better than anything I’ve had in the States. So, in planning dinner, I knew I didn’t want to go back to my previous favorite restaurant – the Smoking Goat in Shoreditch. I wanted to try something spicy, hot and new. After a light search, I found Kiln SoHo. After browsing the menu, I made a reservation for my partner and I’s last night in London.
Arriving for our table, we were quickly ushered downstairs, into a small dark and cozy dining room.

I stared with the 2022 Arkestra Vol III, a white wine by Il Farneto from Emilia-Romagna, Italy.
This was dumb.
Spicy Thai food only deserves one thing: a good beer to go with it. But, I will say that the wine was good.

Out first was the SLOW GRILLED CHICKEN & SOY along with the incredible (my favorite) JIN TOO WITH ORANGE.
Honestly, If I could eat this once a week and not get bored of it, I would.
Next out was the NORTHERN LAMP SAUSAGE, with diced Thai chilis on top.
The CLAY POT BAKED GLASS NOODLES (with Tamworth Belly and Brown Crab Meat) was also delicious. However, I wish the dish has more sauce.
I continued with the Freedom Lager, Which frankly, I should have ordered at the beginning. This went perfectly with the TAMWORTH LOIN COLLAR WITH GALANGAL RELISH and the JASMINE RICE.

Frankly, it was all delicious. I loved the unique, distinct flavors of each of the dishes. Plus, once dinner was over, it was an easy walk back to the Great Scotland Yard Hotel.

Dinner at Kiln SoHo was a wonderful way to end a short stay in London, England, before flying back to the States.
