Doune Castle

I went to Scotland, walked through a castle and bought a teddy bear.

Touring Doune Castle honestly made me realize how short people used to be. It could be because it was near the end of the “West Highlands, Lochs & Castles Tour” by Rabbie’s Tours. But, I was rather tired once the group reached Doune Castle.

I got my little tour guide device but barely used it past the introduction. I’m not a huge fan of Monty Python and I was pretty tired at this point. I was just focused on taking pictures in the courtyard and buying a little teddy bear that caught my eye in the gift shop.

Sure, if you’re stuck on the show Outlander and love the idea that the show was filmed there, Doune Castle will be amazing for you.

But for me – it was okay.
