After snowboarding at Sugarbush Resort, I walked around Sugarbush to see what else was around. While wandering, I saw a few awesome areas. Especially, the small but mighty beer and cocktail area for relaxation.

However, what really caught my eye was the structure with a rather long line next to it. It was named Waffle Cabin that apparently sold one thing and one thing extremely well: waffles.

Now, I absolutely love waffles. Some of my favorite spots are Otto Waffle Atelier in Bruges, Belgium; Vaffelbageren in Copenhagen, Denmark; and Belgian Wic in Paris, France.
So, of course I would stand in line for a post snow day waffle at a resort in Vermont. Because – yes!
The line was about 45 minutes long and I actually enjoyed being in it.

I even conversed to one guy about his Lawson’s Finest Liquids can and he mentioned that it was an IPA that you could only get at Sugarbush Resort. It’s part of their Good Brews for a Cause.

After a bit, it was my turn to get my REAL BELGIAN SUGAR WAFFLE with CHOCOLATE TOPPING.

It was perfection and the perfect end to an absolutely incredible afternoon in the snow.
