For this year’s birthday dinner, I really wanted something simple and delicious. Especially, since I was going to Noma for dinner, the next day. After a few hours of research and comparison, I made reservations at The Olive Kitchen & Bar.

I started dinner with the STRAWBERRY & BASIL (rum, lemon, strawberry, basil syrup) cocktail. This was light and refreshing and grounded me in the present moment, after all of the traveling we’d done to Sweden and back.

Next up was an order of the DANISH BLUE MUSSELS (creamy sauce with white wine, garlic, chili).
For my main course, I deeply loved and appreciated the SEARED SEA BASS FILET (baby potatoes, salad with mustard vinaigrette, lemon-butter sauce).
It was so cozy and beautiful. I loved the decor, the size and portion of each dish and the simplicity of a wholesome meal in Copenhagen.
I deeply appreciated my dinner at The Olive Kitchen & Bar.
