Dessert and coffee at Reffen Food Hall was a delightful way to pass time and enjoy the sunset in Copenhagen, Denmark
It’s beautiful the way that life works out. In the morning Viggo ride to Kalaset, we struck up a conversation with our driver. He told us that he was from Faroe Islands (an autonomous territory of the Kingdom of Denmark) and spoke about the differences between living in Copenhagen vs his experiences on the island. He then suggested that for a well rounded experience of an outdoor market, we should try Reffen Food Hall.
I was intrigued and curious.
So, after dinner at The Olive Kitchen & Bar, we made our way to Reffen.

We first stopped at Reffin Coffee Bar . Delighted by the choices, I ordered an AFFOGATO WITH DOUBLE SHOT OF FRANGELICO.
This was internally warming, rich and delicious. In short – awesome.

As we walked around, I was actually wistful that I wasn’t more hungry for other things. Dinner was filling. However, the selections of food options at Reffen looked absolutely delicious.
Before long, I was focused on finding dessert. Originally, when I looked at the Reffen website, I became fixated on visiting the dessert spot, White Rabbit, for ice cream.

The bright colors and beautiful design visually enticed me. I was hooked. So, as my partner stood in line at White Rabbit, I meandered around, exploring the grounds with my camera.

When I returned back to White Rabbit, he had a delicious cup of ICE CREAM AND CHURROS waiting for me. I was delighted. We chilled near a fire pit as we enjoyed the vibes of the area, splitting the ice cream between us.

There was something special about enjoying our curated dessert snacks, amidst the sunset and lively locals. It was the prefect end to a day of celebrating my birthday in Denmark and Sweden.
