Madame Janette

Dinner at Madame Janette was a lovely last dinner, to say goodbye to the island magic of Aruba

For our last night in Aruba, it was highly recommended that we make a reservation for Madame Janette, in Noord.

To start our dinner, the MADAME’S BLACK ANGUS BEEF CARPACCIO (Toasted Sunflower Seeds, Parmigiano Reggiano, served with Mache salad and a Morel and Porcini Vinaigrette) with the PIMPED-UP ROLLS ( Pulled pork, mozzarella cheese and Savoy Cabbage) were served to start.

For our main course, we split the TOURNEDOS A LA “RAMON” (Two Beef Tournedos wrapped in Bacon, topped with sautéed Onions and sauce Béarnaise) and a fish dish.

Everything was delicious – however…

If you are planning to visit, I would suggest dining at Madame Janette early in your trip. I would also suggest reserving a table at the Flying Fishbone for your last dinner in Aruba.

I did not – and ended up comparing the two experiences throughout the meal. I wish I’d changed the dining order, to really enjoy Madame Janette for how it was.

Delicious and wonderful, of course – but in its own way.
