Breakfast at The Dutch Pancake House Restaurant was a decent way to start the day, in Aruba.
I will admit that maybe, I had been in a better mood, I would have been happier with the servings at The Dutch Pancake House Restaurant. However, the waiter was an asshole who gave me attitude, in that very special, typical Dutch way, and I wasn’t having it.
I had an IRISH COFFEE (Jameson) and a NORWAY (Smoked salmon, lettuce, tomato, onion, capers & cream cheese).
It was fine. But also, it goes to show how a waiter’s attitude really can influence one’s meal. So, if you find yourself in Aruba and are looking for a place for breakfast, The Dutch Pancake House Restaurant is actually rather good.
And I’m sure that guy doesn’t work there anymore, as I’m writing this in 2024 and this all happened in 2020.
Golden Rule: Don’t be an asshole.
