Dinner at Faro Blanco Restaurant was a delicious experience of rustic Italian cuisine in Aruba.
When I asked locals for suggestions of where to eat, someone highly suggested Faro Blanco Restaurant, located next to the famous Faro Blanco lighthouse.
Perched atop a rugged coastline, the Faro Blanco Lighthouse stands tall with its gleaming white exterior and distinctive red dome, a picturesque sight against the backdrop of Aruba’s azure skies. It was absolutely gorgeous.
But – back to the food at the restaurant next to it. After being seated for our reservation, we browsed the menu.
We began with the BRUSCHETTA AL POMODORO (Freshly chopped tomato with garlic, basil, salt and pepper).
To the best of my memory, we ordered and split the OSSOBUCO DI VITELLO CON RISOTTO MILANESE (a bone in veal Ossobuco with red wine, white wine, parsley, rosemary, broth, garlic, onions, olive oil and lemon juice, served with cheese risotto).
It was delicious and – best of all – so was the sunset from our table.
