Lotus of Siam in Las Vegas is a celebrated destination for authentic Thai cuisine, known for its rich flavors and innovative dishes
Nestled within the vibrant tapestry of Las Vegas lies Lotus of Siam, a culinary oasis celebrated for its authentic Thai cuisine. On my recent visit, I was eager to immerse myself in the flavors that have garnered a loyal following and accolades from discerning food enthusiasts.
As I stepped into the inviting ambiance, I felt an immediate sense of warmth and hospitality. The scent of aromatic spices wafted through the air, setting the stage for a lovely dining experience.

The menu looked good. After a rather long day of driving from Page, Arizona back to Las Vegas, I was hungry – to say the least. I chose the NAM KAO TOD (Crispy rice, sour pork sausage, cilantro, green onions, ground dry chilis, sliced ginger, peanuts & lime juice) to share, to start.
This was a delightful medley of crispy rice and pork. The dish was an exquisite balance of textures and flavors; the crunch of the crispy rice paired nicely with the tangy pork. The dish tasted fresh and hot, exactly what I wanted.
Following this vibrant starter, we shared the SA-TAY (Pork marinated with Lotus style fresh herbs & spices, grilled on skewers, served with peanut sauce and cucumber salad), selecting pork as the protein.
The skewers, grilled to perfection, made me love peanut sauce even more. The cucumber salad was refreshing and a great balance. Each component enhanced the overall experience.
Next out came the KHAO SOI (Burmese influenced dish served with egg noodles in a curry base with a touch of coconut cream and chicken), a dish that truly captivated my senses.
This Burmese-inspired delicacy featured egg noodles in a rich, creamy curry base, infused with coconut. We opted for chicken, and its tender texture worked well with the noodles.
Everything was good – but we felt that we wanted just one more dish to finish the night. So, we ordered the FRIED CHICKEN WONTONS (Lotus style sweet & sour sauce).
Now, this was the only mid thing that we had. It was fine – but it felt more crunch than meat, if that makes sense. However, this did not detract from the overall meal.
Dining at Lotus of Siam is an experience that celebrates the depth and richness of Thai cuisine. It was a solid night out and a great off the Strip dining choice for a reasonable price.
