Zion National Park
Just west of Grand Staircase-Escalante lies Zion National Park, a jewel of the American Southwest.
Both Zion and the Grand Staircase are part of the Colorado Plateau, showcasing geological layers that tell the story of millions of years of Earth’s history. The contrast between Zion’s lower canyons and the layered mesas of the Grand Staircase highlights the diverse beauty of this remarkable region, crafting an interconnected landscape that captivates every visitor.
Bryce Canyon National Park
Walking through Bryce Canyon National Park felt like entering a natural cathedral, where the surreal beauty of towering hoodoos glows in vibrant reds, oranges, and pinks.
From the rim, I marveled at a sprawling landscape that transformed endlessly, each formation sculpted by eons of erosion. The spires and amphitheaters of Bryce Canyon left me in awe of the powerful forces that have shaped this rugged corner of Utah, a testament to the dynamic artistry of nature.
The Wild Majesty of Grand Staircase-Escalante
Exploring the vast expanse of Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument is akin to stepping into an endless frontier. Rugged cliffs and winding canyons stretch out in every direction, with colorful rock layers painting a vivid picture of the landscape. It was absolutely beautiful to see the Grand Staircase from two different viewpoints: From Bryce Canyon looking south – and, from Le Feve Ridge looking north.

I kicked off my shoes, relishing the warm sand beneath my feet as I climbed the tallest dunes, the contrast between the vibrant sand and the surrounding red cliffs was nothing short of extraordinary. Here, exploration is pure joy and freedom, with the landscape feeling alive and ever-changing.
Lower Antelope Canyon
My adventure at Lower Antelope Canyon with Ken’s Tours was an unforgettable encounter with nature’s artistry. As I descended into the narrow slot canyon, the swirling, undulating sandstone walls came alive in brilliant shades of orange and red, illuminated by sunlight filtering from above.
The guide shared captivating tales of the canyon’s formation and the Navajo culture, enhancing my appreciation for this natural wonder. Every twist and turn unveiled breathtaking perspectives, each more stunning than the last.
Horseshoe Bend
Standing at Horseshoe Bend, I was spellbound by the Colorado River’s serpentine flow.

Navajo Bridge
