I’ll admit it—I don’t go to Las Vegas to gamble. I used to find it fun, but these days I’m a bit more risk-averse and prefer to explore the city’s other offerings. So, when I found myself up early craving a good breakfast and a spot to write, I did some searching. PublicUs quickly caught my eye. Their website had a cool vibe, and the place just looked fun. A short drive later, I was parked outside, ready to give it a try.

Parking here is hourly, but PublicUs offers validation for a few hours, which is a nice perk.

Walking in, I instantly knew I’d made a great choice—the line to order was impressively long, wrapping around one side of the space. But instead of putting me off, it only added to my excitement. While I waited, I soaked in the decor, which was full of autumn and Halloween-themed touches that brought the space to life. The attention to seasonal details made it feel cozy and festive, setting a warm tone for my visit.

When I arrived at the front of the line, I was ready.

The PEAR DANISH was the first thing I ordered. When it arrived at my table and I pealed off a piece, it tasted just as good as it looked.

Alongside, the ASKINOSIE DARK CHOCOLATE MOCHA was a solid choice to sip and enjoy.

When the CORNED BEEF HASH (Spicy Coconut Sauce, Diced Spam, Diced Potatoes, Bell Peppers, Cherry Tomatoes, Green Onions, 1 Farm Egg, PublicUs Sourdough) arrived, I was impressed. I decided to swap the traditional egg for a tofu scramble, and it turned out to be the perfect choice.

The tofu added a lovely texture that melded beautifully with the dish’s vibrant flavors. Each bite was a balance of spicy, savory, and subtly sweet, making this dish both hearty and satisfying.

Overall, my visit to PublicUs was a refreshing break from the typical Vegas experience, offering a cozy atmosphere, thoughtful dishes, and a taste of seasonal charm that left me more than satisfied.
