Hilton San Francisco Union Square

Hilton San Francisco Union Square is very beige, very corporate and very large hotel - in the Union Square area of San Francisco, California

This hotel was located in Union Square. But, unlike the San Francisco Proper hotel, located a few blocks away, it wasn’t as vibe forward. But, it wasn’t made or designed to be cool. This hotel was make for The Corporate Things.

Which is fine.

Room + Stay

This was mid. The very baseline of mid. I only stayed here to get me up to Diamond status with Hilton. The only two things that made me happy while staying here was that I got the status bump and that I had a high floor room.

In short, it was corporate beige hell with a great view from the 44th floor.

Overall

Overall, you do what you need to do for certain things. I wanted to reach Diamond. So, I stayed here.

Later, I realized the benefits of being Diamond status with Hilton pretty much only centers around the free breakfast. With the best one being at the Conrad Tulum.
