Hotel Kabuki

My stay at Hotel Kabuki allowed me to see the best of Japantown, while also enjoying coming back to my suite, in San Francisco, California

Needing to fly to San Francisco for a meeting in Big Sur, I knew that I wanted to stay somewhere unique, fun and with a distinct taste of design. And I wanted to stay in an area I had not ventured to before. Enter Hotel Kabuki, a Joie de Vivre hotel in the Hyatt portfolio in Japantown in San Francisco.

Stay

My room at Hotel Kabuki was delightfully fun. I loved the grandness of the corner room, with its large and wide, floor to ceiling windows.

The best part about the light in the room? was taking time for using some of the new watercolors I’d purchased from Case for Making and painting. It was the retreat that I needed from the world.

Plus, the views from my room of the San Francisco skyline were beautiful.

Service

Service during my stay was pleasant. Staff was helpful to suggest nearby restaurants and things to do. I mainly spent the highlights of my time visiting Case for Making, Trouble Coffee Co., and other businesses in the Sunset District area.

Overall

Overall, my stay at Hotel Kabuki was a visual aesthetic that I appreciated.

I enjoyed how close it was to everywhere I wanted to be. Whether that be dinner at Robin or breakfast at Son & Garden, I felt that my adventures had a warm, inviting and beautiful home to come back to.
