Highline Vail - a DoubleTree by Hilton was the perfect one night stay getaway in Vail, Colorado
After breakfast at Four Friends in Denver, it was time to head into the Rocky Mountains. As we stopped and played in the snow on the way up, it was simply fun to be in a sense of wonder about the world.
Location
The location of Highline Vail is located in West Vail. As it was my first time staying in Vail proper, it felt good to stay in the main town area vs off in the hills.
Parking was easy. Check in was a breeze. But best of all? I loved the look of the hotel.
Stay and Room
The room was comfortable and modernly designed. After a decent drive, it felt good to check in and relax.
The best part of the stay was the hot tub. It felt SO GOOD to come back from snowshoeing at the top of Vail Mountain and dinner at Alpenrose, it was absolutely amazing to come back to the hotel and soak in the tub.
Also, it started snowing lightly while I was hanging out and having conversations with other fellow travelers. It was perfect.
Overall
Overall, it was a lovely location that was close to everything I wanted to go to in Vail.
