When Sefora invited me to dinner to meet her family, I was honored and excited. They’d selected Water Grill in Downtown Los Angeles – a place I hadn’t been to in over 15 years.
After surprising myself and finding easy street parking, it was a joy to meet up with Sefora and her sister and mother.
Conversations flowed as delicious as my BARREL’LY’ AGED (Evan Williams straight bourbon, vanilla bean, lime & pineapple…shaken with vigor & served up) tasted.
My half dozen oysters selection included:

The FILET MIGNON “double r ranch” 8 oz with a side of FRENCH FRIES was absolutely perfect. This was exactly what I needed to satisfy my need for more protein. A staff member brought of little cups of Chipotle Aioli and Harissa Aioli for me to dip and savor the fries in.
Overall, my time at Water Grill was delicious. The conversation was lively, our server was fun and the night was a quintessential taste of downtown Los Angeles.
