After a few hours of soaking up the sun, wading through the warm turquoise waters, and laying at the beach in lounge chairs at the Sofitel Kia Ora Moorea Beach Resort, it was time to take full advantage of the lunch included with our day passes. As our appetites began to build, Sefora and I made our way over to Pure, the resort’s open air lunch restaurant.

We were greeted with warm smiles and shown to a beautiful table with a stunning view of the ocean. The ambiance was relaxed but refined, perfectly complementing the natural beauty of the surroundings.

I began with the TAHITIAN RAW FISH (tuna, coconut milk) which was fresh and deliciously well seasoned, and a perfect way to ease into the meal.

For the main course, I ordered the ENTRECÔTE BEEF SIRLOIN (with fries and a side of Roquefort sauce). It was rich, tender, and incredibly flavorful with the addition of a little salt and pepper.
After admiring the PINA COLADA that Sefora ordered, I decided to indulge in one as well. It was creamy, perfectly chilled, and added just the right tropical touch to the meal.
It was a complete and whole vibe.
As a gentle rain began to fall, we relocated to another table that offered better shelter while still preserving the panoramic view of the South Pacific Ocean.
I found myself feeling deeply grateful to be exactly where I was – sharing the experience with Sefora – on the incredibly beautiful island of Moorea, while overlooking Tahiti.
