Nayara Tented Camp in Costa Rica provides a luxurious rainforest retreat alongside lovely culinary experiences, making a stay the perfect blend of comfort and indulgence
During my stay at Nayara Tented Camp, an enchanting retreat tucked into the lush rainforests of Costa Rica, dining became an integral part of the adventure. The property offered an array of exceptional culinary experiences, each more memorable than the last, and I made it a point to savor as many as I could. Every meal felt like a celebration of local flavors, expertly crafted dishes, and the breathtaking surroundings that made Nayara so special.
Dinners at Asia Luna at Nayara Gardens
Our dinners at Asia Luna blended traditional Asian cuisine with the vibrant flavors of Costa Rica. This created a a unique fusion that felt both innovative and deeply satisfying – and above all, delicious.

The intimate, stylish setting added to the experience, making it feel like a hidden gem in the heart of the rainforest.
We ate there twice – and loved each time.

Dinner at Mis Amores at Nayara Springs
Dining at Mis Amores at the Nayara Springs area of the property was a delicious treat of Italian food in Costa Rica. We particularly enjoyed the wood-fired pizzas and the live-cheese pasta dish, prepared tableside with such flair that it felt like a performance.

The outdoor setting added another layer of magic to the meal. Every table was a beautiful vibe, creating a breathtaking backdrop as I savored each bite.
Nostalgia at Nayara Gardens
When I stepped into Nostalgia, it immediately felt like I had discovered a hidden gem in the rainforest. This was truly a place where my love of wine and the ambiance of the rainforest came together in perfect harmony. We were seated on the outdoor terrance.
I was drawn to the wine dispensing system and my card for pours. We also enjoyed the Spanish styled tapas.

Breakfast at La Terraza Del Arenal at Nayara Gardens
The best aspect of staying at Nayara Tented Camp is that there was no additional fee to have breakfast service delivered to the room.

However on the mornings in which we wanted to be around others, there was breakfast at La Terraza Del Arenal in the Nayara Gardens area of the larger property.

We also had the pleasure of dining there for dinner. With unparalleled views of the rainforest from my table, I enjoyed a delicious mix of Latin American flavors and creative spins on classic Costa Rican dishes.

Mi Cafecito Espresso Bar at Nayara Springs
Stepping into Mi Cafecito felt like entering a hidden sanctuary devoted to the art of coffee. The rich aroma of freshly roasted beans filled the air, hinting at the craftsmanship behind every cup. Surrounded by lush greenery and the soothing sounds of nature, I quickly realized this was more than just a coffee shop—it was an experience, a tribute to Costa Rica’s most cherished export.

Warm wood accents and airy ceilings created a welcoming sense of tranquility. Drawn to the terrace, I sipped my coffee while gazing at the tropical forest, completely at peace.
Amor Loco at Nayara Springs
For my birthday dinner, we enjoyed dinner at Amor Loco.

What made dining at Nayara Tented Camp truly extraordinary was not just the quality of the food, but the thoughtfulness behind every detail. From the locally sourced ingredients to the impeccable service, each meal felt like a journey through Costa Rica’s rich culinary heritage.
