Eclectic Kim Review: Green Valley Ranch Beer Garden

There is something about truly incredible friendship that support your growth throughout life. So, when my planned trip to Colorado co-existed with Traci’s stay, we immediately worked together to make. connection work.

So, when she suggested a few options – with Green Valley Ranch Beer Garden being one of them – I immediately picked it. Plus, after my flight from Los Angeles, I was more than ready to grab a beer with a dear friend.

Standing in line, I took everything in.

Accessing my desire for a well rounded beer tasting board, I made a few selections.

Then, I found a table outside and chilled until Traci arrived.

When Traci and I connected, it was like time between our previous dinner months ago at Saverina was non existent.

Plus, my beer? There’s nothing like a great Colorado beer flight:

The Crooked Stave Brewing Co’s. Raspberry Blonde (Blonde Ale With Natural Raspberry Flavor) was absolutely stunning, bright and juicy.
Westbound & Down’s West Coast-Style IPA (West Coast IPA featuring Mosaic, Simcoe, Citra, Mosaic Cryo, Simcoe Cryo and Citra Cryo hops. Aromas of tangerine, peach, strawberry and melon) was light and hop forward in the most delicious of ways.
Continuing, 21st Amendment Brewery’s Hell Or High Watermelon (Wheat Beer – Fruited – American wheat beer brewed with watermelon) was juicy and definitely taste of watermelon. It truly felt like I was drinking the liquid essence of summer.
The Rogue Ales’s Chocolate Stout Nitro (Stout – American – Chocolate stout is brewed with Dutch chocolate) was a VERY smooth Colorado chocolate stout.

For lunch, I ordered the GVR Cuban (ham, house-smoked pulled pork, Swiss cheese, Dijon aioli, pickles, hoagie).

Everything was absolutely delicious. Before I knew it, almost 4 hours had passed in a blink in an eye. Well – through talking, laughing, sharing our life stories and just being in each other’s presence.
