Fleur de Pains

A light breakfast at Fleur de Pains was the perfect way to start my day of adventure, in Montreux, Switzerland

On my first full day in Switzerland, I wanted to start my trek to Glacier 3000 a bit earlier in the mid morning. So, I knew I wouldn’t be able to truly enjoy the experience at the Grand Hotel Suisse Majestic, Autograph Collection’s buffet.

So, I asked the front desk for suggestions of where to eat, locally. Immediately, the front desk suggested that I eat at Fleur de Pains, down the street a few feet from the hotel.

It was so cozy and comfortable inside Fleur de Pains that I knew it was the right place for me. Plus, there wasn’t a Starbucks in sight.

I ordered a FRESH ORANGE JUICE, a FLAT WHITE COFFEE and a FOCACCIA JAMBON CRU.

The orange juice was freshly squeezed and exceptionally delicious to drink. The flat white honestly might have surpassed the cappuccino as my favorite coffee drink while traveling Europe.

It was a perfect morning breakfast in Switzerland.
