Explore the mysteries of the universe and embark on an adventure through time and space at the American Museum of Natural History in New York.

Returning from a work event in Connecticut, I had some free time to enjoy before my flight back to Los Angeles. When I arrived at Grand Central Terminal, I quickly got a bearings and decided that there was only one place I wanted to go: the American Museum of Natural History.

Nestled amidst the bustling streets of New York City’s Upper West Side, the American Museum of Natural History stands as a beacon of curiosity and discovery, inviting travelers to embark on a journey through the wonders of the natural world.

Since its founding in 1869, this iconic institution has captured the imaginations of visitors from around the globe, offering a glimpse into the mysteries of the universe and the rich tapestry of life on Earth.

I absolutely loved walking the halls of the museum, basking in the history and wonder of the amassed collection. When I visited the National Museum of Scotland a few years after this trip, It reminded me of this museum.

With its vast collection of over 33 million specimens and artifacts, including the famed Tyrannosaurus rex skeleton and the iconic blue whale, the American Museum of Natural History offered me a true glimpse into the staggering diversity and complexity of life on Earth.
