Meeting up with Kyle always insures that a great conversation about movies and life is to be had. Last time, we’d met at Pour Decisions we ended up talking at length about vintage Siskel and Ebert reviews and how differently films were discussed as we were growing up. But as it was Kyle’s turn to pick the spot this time, the word of the afternoon was tacos.
I kept it simple and ordered two. An Asada taco (handmade tortilla, onion, cilantro, and guacamole) and a Fish Taco (Ensenada style with beer battered cod). Alongside, a cup of the pineapple based Lemonade Of The Day was refreshing and cut nicely through the richness of the food.
The food, the setting, and the conversation were all great. Plus, there was even parking right on the side. Nothing about tacos in Burbank needs to be complicated, and this wasn’t.
