VIP Lounge at Venice Marco Polo Airport

As my flight continued to be delayed for hours, my stay at the VIP Lounge at Venice Marco Polo Airport made the experience bearable

Arriving at the Venice Marco Polo Airport via a water taxi, arranged by my hotel, H10 Palazzo Canova, I felt refreshed and complete.

After a short wait to check into my flight, I made it through security in a breeze. After stopping at Venchi for a custom box of chocolates and a delicious cup of gelato, I made my way to the Marco Polo VIP Lounge.

Now, this is one of the best, most relaxing lounges I’ve experienced. It’s on the same level as an American Express Centurion lounge.

The size and layout of the lounge perfectly fit the level of traffic. I quickly found a seat in the indoor garden area, surrounded by luscious plants and decor.

I then proceeded to down CAMPARI SPRITZES, water and light bites until my flight was eventually called. Nothing like a flight being close to 3 hours late, which caused me to miss my entrance time to the Effiel Tower. But, que sera, sera …

One of the best parts about the Marco Polo VIP Lounge is the luxuriously clean bathroom. After dealing with Palermo’s airport bathrooms – I will never take a beautiful airport bathroom for granted again.
