Dinner at Riviera at the Hoxton Paris allowed me to make the best of a frustrating afternoon of travel.
After a rather long day of travel from Venice to Paris, I had to admit that my desired schedule of events wasn’t going to happen. I had been looking forward to my timed entry to the Eiffel Tower and basking in the sunset over dinner in the area. However, delays and being forced to deal with bullshit outside of my control simply made me have to change my perspective of how the evening was going to be.
So, instead of worrying, I decided to chalk it up to a “donation to the culture of Paris” and sat at Rivie at the Hoxton Paris for dinner. Not gonna lie, it felt so damn good to be in Paris after an extended stay in Italy. And not being charged for water.
Soothing my sadness, I ordered the RUBY WOO (Bacardi Carta Blanca, Rabarbaro, Martini bitter, Detterave, aquafaba, citron vert) to start.
For dinner, I enjoyed the HALF GRILLED COCKEREL (Black garlic condiment, fries, poultry jus). I’d actually been craving fries for days. So, it was fitting to have an elevated chicken and fries dish for dinner.

Plus, when you’re having dinner before going to Crazy Horse Paris, life is good.
