The Whisper House

The Whisper House is known for its inventive comfort food, carefully crafted cocktails, and an intimate, Prohibition-era speakeasy atmosphere

After a rather long morning of pistol training at Burro Canyon Shooting Park, my partner and I were tired. And, most importantly - hungry. A few months prior, I’d experienced the Iron & Kin Presents an Omakase Cocktail Experience by Zach Sheldon & Garrick Gurney. During that evening, I listened as a few locals to the area gave me some outstanding recommendations for the next time I was out in Pomona Valley / Claremont.

And would I know – this was one of those times.

Immediately – I knew I had the solution to our food problem. So, visiting my own website, I found the solution: The Whisper House.

Parking was easy. A quick walk later and we were settled into a table.

I ordered a goblet of the Claremont Craft Ales Triple IPA (10.5% ABV – Triple IPA – Claremont, CA).

This went well with the appetizer of Fried Pickles.

The main start of my lunch – the 502 Burger (Southern Pepper Medley, Fried Jalapeños, Lettuce Tomato, Red Onion, Pepper Jack Cheese, Tabasco Aioli) was filling and delicious.

Most outstanding? The Garlic Parmesan Fries. These were some of the best fries I’d had in recent memory.

Overall, lunch at The Whisper House was exactly what I needed after a long morning.
