After a rather exciting business meeting with Hilary involving some upcoming art markets we’re producing, there was only one thing on my mind: enjoying another DineLA featured lunch at a local restaurant. Luckily, after sending Hilary the list of participating restaurants, she chose The Six.
I pretty much devoured the Buffalo Cauliflower (Crispy cauliflower, buffalo sauce, ranch) with reckless abandon. I greatly enjoyed the flavor profile of the buffalo sauce as I doused it with the ranch sauce.
The star of the meal was the Drunken Smash Burger (Beer & Bacon jam, arugula, brie cheese, truffle aioli, brioche bun, hand cut fries). It was delicious, rich in flavor and extremely filling.
I was also exceptionally happy that I was able to request and receive a dessert order of the Vanilla Bread Pudding ….
instead of the BANANA CREAM PIE (fresh Marbel banana custard, Oreo crust) that Hilary ordered.
The combo of the ice cream with the warm bread pudding was – chef’s kiss – in my mouth.
Happily, lunch at Six Social House offered Hilary and I the casual comfort we needed to talk, eat and review our business plan over delicious food.
