The Otis Hotel Austin, Autograph Collection is a fun, uniquely styled hotel in Austin, Texas

During my first stay – away from family – in Austin, Texas, I knew that I wanted to pick a hotel that had character, was fun and visually interesting. I picked the The Otis Hotel Austin, as it was in Marriott’s Autograph Collection.

Upon check in, I was impressed with the decor. The holiday season was in full effect.

Happily, I was upgraded into a beautiful corner suite, overlooking the Austin skyline.

Location

The location was nice. It was a bit further than I expected from all of the prime spots in Austin. However, it was perfect for a relaxing stay in a vibrant atmosphere.

Stay

I truly loved my room. My suite was everything I could have asked for, and more.

I had a decent dinner at Acre 41. I say decent because it didn’t feel exceptional. Just decent / fine.

The upstairs bar was also a great vibe, with a lovely view of Austin.

Service

Service was fine. No complaints. Parking was valet and easy to access.
