Snow Tubing at Woodward Park City was the perfect winter activity for delightful fun in Park City, Utah

Looking for things to do in Park City, the one thing I knew is that skiing would not be an option. I didn’t want to book us on an all day situation, hauling gear up and dealing with ski school. I also struck out with trying to book a backcountry snowmobile tour. It was by sheer chance that I happened upon Woodward Park City. And in turn, found a snow tube activity that we both ended up enjoying with delight.

Situated in Park City, Utah, Woodward Park City occupies a prime location known for its rich history in winter sports and outdoor recreation. The park encompasses a vast area of terrain, including ski and snowboard slopes, terrain parks, indoor facilities, and outdoor adventure zones.

After parking, we walked a short distance to book tickets for the snow tubing event. Checking in at the snow tubing area, we were given our tubes and a magic carpet led us to the top of the tubing slope.

What followed was fun that was better than downhill skiing. It was the very definition of “Weeeeeee!”

The sheer joy of speeding down a snow-covered hill in an inflatable tube evokes a sense of exhilaration and excitement. Unlike skiing or snowboarding, snow tubing requires minimal skill or equipment, making it perfect for me.

I simply sat on the tube and let gravity do the work as I glided effortlessly down the hill, laughing and screaming with delight along the way. There were two two tubing stations. One offered a shorter tube length. The other, a taller and faster tubing experience.

It was exceptional carefree fun.

Once our hour of tubing was complete, we returned our tubes and had light bites at the indoor restaurant.
