After checking in to the Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas, I was told that it would be a short wait until my room was ready - but it would be worth it. So, I decided to head to the 23rd floor and step into Peacock Alley for a relaxing cocktail and to write.
I ordered the REBEL WITHOUT A CAUSE (Stoli Vanilla, Kahlua, Espresso, Dulce de Leche) cocktail. And frankly, it could have been the best espresso martini I’ve had. It was exceptionally smooth, with a clean finish.
Frankly, it was the best cocktail to sip as I discovered and subsequently fixed a last minute scheduling conflict in my calendar. Fittingly, once that issue was handled, I received the text that my room was ready.
