My mother had one lifelong desire: she wanted to see Mardi Gras in New Orleans. Armed with this information, I set about planning a mother / daughter trip for us to the Big Easy.
Browsing the hotel selections, I knew that I wanted to book a hotel that was preferably RIGHT in the center of the parade, so she didn’t have to walk far. After narrowing the choices down (and with fond memories of the JW Marriott Los Cabos), I picked the JW Marriott New Orleans.
Once I arrived, I knew I’d made the right choice. Nestled in the heart of the vibrant French Quarter, the JW Marriott New Orleans stands as a beacon of luxury and Southern hospitality, offering a captivating blend of modern elegance and timeless charm.
The rooms were modern and well kept. My mother loved the modern look and feel of the hotel. But, most of all, she loved the walkability from the hotel to the Harrah’s New Orleans casino.
Beyond its accommodations and amenities, the JW Marriott New Orleans holds a special place in the city’s cultural tapestry. It was absolutely lovely to walk out from the doors of the hotel and be RIGHT IN THE PATH of the Mardi Gras parade.
