After a lovely lunch at Parche, a charming Colombian restaurant just around the corner, Margaret and I decided to extend our afternoon with a visit to one of Oakland’s favorite coffee spots, Delah Coffee. The inviting aroma of freshly brewed Arabic coffee greeted us as we stepped inside. Based on the design and look of the interior,  I instantly understood why this place held a special place in Margaret’s heart.

I ordered the ROSE LATTE, a beautifully fragrant and subtly delicious drink that felt both indulgent and comforting.

As we sipped our coffees, the conversation meandered effortlessly, touching on old memories, new adventures, and everything in between. It was the kind of easy, flowing exchange that only long-standing friendships can bring.

As we said our goodbyes and parted ways, I found myself deeply appreciative of the power of friendships over the years. A simple cup of coffee, shared in the right company, can be a quiet yet profound reminder of connection, warmth, and the joy of slowing down, even just for a moment.
