A group dinner at Citrin for DineLA Restaurant Week was a great backdrop for conversation and delicious bites in Santa Monica
When Aaron and Philip suggested that we met them at Citrin in Santa Monica for a group dinner, I jumped at the chance. Originally, we met Aaron at Bonobos, where he was a joy to work with to get some clothing pieces before a trip. Since becoming friendly on social media, it was a pleasure to follow each other’s dining trips, before finally making space to meetup up.
As it was Dine LA, it was a pleasure to walk into Citrin and know that we would be getting a curated selection of cuisine at a lower price point. The best of both worlds.

I savored the evening. Now, I don’t know what’s the difference between this iteration of Citrin vs the Citrin x Mélisse restaurant blend I had earlier in the year. However, a quick search led to this explanation:
Citrin restaurant offers a seasonal a la carte menu or prix fixe menu option and is available for dine-in in our outdoor garden. We also have a large bar with dining available for walk-ins only. The restaurant at Mélisse offers a Chef’s tasting experience, complete with its own kitchen and team.
Dinner was, as always, delicious.
