After shopping at the Nordstrom flagship store for sunglasses and shoes (always a winning combination), I walked back to The Charter Hotel Seattle, Curio Collection By Hilton and reflected on the day. After a quick walk around Pike Place - including a stop at Beecher's Handmade Cheese - Pike Place Market for a fantastic late lunch overlooking Puget Sound, I knew that it was time to enjoy my favorite two things about the Pacific Northwest: oysters and fries.
After a quick refresh in my room, I entered into Cinder + Salt for an extremely light dinner of some of my favorite fare.
After settling into a beautiful seat with a commanding view of the restaurant, I settled into the menu.
After consideration, I chose the Half Oyster selection, specifically selecting the Samish Bay oysters and my favorite Kumamoto Oysters.
Of course, with a side of Fries (dill seasoning, Meyer lemon aioli).
This combo was true perfection. I almost regretted not ordering a glass of wine. However, I also remembered my intent of having a cocktail at the hotel’s rooftop bar, the Fog Room (Fog Room at The Charter Hotel Seattle). So, I drank copious amounts of water instead.
Overall, my light bites at Cinder + Salt at The Charter Hotel Seattle was a fantastic time that satisfied my desires.
